The 21st Annual Athletic Meet – Athleta was successfully held on 18 September 2025 at the University Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.
Air Commodore Mathews John (Air–I, HQ SAC) inaugurated the event and officially declared the meet open.
The Fun Games event for Grades 1 and 2 was inaugurated by Wing Commander Manpreet Kaur, adding a special touch to the lively Sports Day celebrations.
Young Indians Parliament Achievements
Saeed Jubair earned the Leadership Excellence Award and will represent the team at the Nationals in New Delhi. Seana Poulose was honoured with the Best Party Award, showcasing the talent and leadership of our students.
Quiz Club Inauguration
The Quiz Club began its 2025–26 activities with an inspiring inauguration on 5 August 2025. Chief guest Mr. Justin Thomas encouraged students to stay curious and expand their knowledge.
CBSE Cluster XI Badminton Champions
Diyasree T.R. and Hazel George won the Girls U-17 Gold Medal at the CBSE Cluster XI Zonal Inter-School Badminton Championship held in Kochi. Their dedication and skill brought glory to the school.
Cleanliness Club – Menstrual Hygiene Session
The Cleanliness Club organized a Menstrual Hygiene session for Classes 7 and 8 on 18 August 2025. Dr. Shalima Serbin provided essential guidance on health practices and open conversations about menstrual care.
Charity Club Outreach
Grade 9 students visited Akshaparavakal, Visranthi Bhavan, St. Martha’s Special School, Santhwana Rehabilitation Centre, and CIMR. Their interactions spread kindness and highlighted the value of compassion and service.
Career Awareness & Guidance Session
On 11 September 2025, Grades 10–12 Commerce and Humanities students attended a Career Awareness & Guidance Session by the Kerala Commerce Forum and LOGIC School of Management. Mr. Ranjith Mathew inspired them with insights into emerging trends and diverse opportunities in commerce.
The School of The Good Shepherd
The School of The Good Shepherd, affiliated to The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE-Affiliation No. 930703) was started at Nalumukku, Pettah Trivandrum in 2002 as a co-education school attached to the Good Shepherd Kindergarten.The School at Lakeside Akkulam, Trivandrum is situated on a panoramic hill slope by the side of the Akkulam Lake, a beauty spot with in the city limits and just a kilometer away from the famous children’s Park at Akkulam and from the Kazhakoottam – Kovalam bypass Road.
The foundation stone for The School Of The Good Shepherd was laid at Lakeside, Akkulam on 19 May, 2005. Construction was completed by November and Classes I to VI were shifted to this present locale on 23 Nov 2005.- Read More
