NCC - National Cadet Corps
The National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. The cadets are given basic military training in small arms and drill. The first batch of the NCC Unit of The School of The Good Shepherd commenced in the year 2020- ’21 with 25 boy cadets and girl cadets each from grade VIII, as part of the COASTAL AREA EXPANSION scheme of the Central Government. 1 KERALA NAVAL NCC Unit, at our school was inaugurated on 13 April, 2021 by Commander Pratap Singh Hooda. The cadets take part in various activities conducted both online and offline. We aim to develop discipline, character, brotherhood, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Also to enlighten leadership qualities among the youth who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose.
